PDBj-BMRB Website

Welcome to PDBj-BMRB website at Institute for Protein Research (IPR), Osaka University. PDBj-BMRB is a part of activity of PDBj (Protein Data Bank Japan [Head: Haruki Nakamura]). PDBj-BMRB aims to serve biological NMR communities especially in Asia and Japan through the international collaboration for BMRB (BioMagResBank [PI John L. Markley] at University of Wisconsin-Madison).

BMRB is a international database for biological macromolecules derived from NMR spectroscopic investigations in all over the world. Three BMRB websites are opening at Madison, WI, USA, Osaka, Japan, and Florence, Italy, respectively.

Data Deposition
ADIT-NMR

Please access to "ADIT-NMR" website when you deposit your NMR experimental data and atomic coordinates data of studied biomolecule to BMRB and PDB.

Please note the PDB no longer accepts small peptides less than 24 residues as ether NMR or X-ray structure entries. For a while, please deposit via "SMS-Dep" for small NMR structure entries.

Effective February 1, 2008, structure factor amplitudes/intensities (for crystal structures) and restraints (for NMR structures) will be a mandatory requirement for PDB deposition. This policy is published at http://www.wwpdb.org/news.html.
